She's back . On Wednesday, it was announced that Chicago Sky forward Angel Reese will be returning to the Unrivaled league to finish out the final three games of the season with Rose BC.
Reese is scheduled to rejoin the team on Feb. 20 after being last year's rebound champion and Defensive Player of the Year in Unrivaled's inaugural season — leading them all the way to the title in 2025.
This season hasn't gotten off to the same start for Rose BC with them currently sitting in fifth place with a 5-6 record. But perhaps the Chi-Town Barbie's arrival can help change their fortunes over this final stretch of the schedule.
Taking to social media, Unrivaled announced Reese's return to the excitement of many fans and players.
"The BIGGEST AND BADDEST IS BACK " Unrivaled said. "ROSES IN THE CHAT "
"We are so back," a user replied.
"I PRAYED FOR THIS. ANGELS BACK ON THE COURT," another commented.
"Woooooowwww!! It’s welcome back @Reese10Angel," Ros Gold-Onwude shared.
"MY F—KING GOAT IS BACKKKKKKKKKK IM CRYINGGGGGG " a fan posted.
"THE ROSEBUD WE'VE BEEN MISSING @areese," teammate Lexie Hull responded.

Elsewhere around the league, Indiana Fever guard Aari McDonald will not be finishing out the rest of the season after suffering a lower right leg injury, it was announced Monday.
McDonald had only appeared in one game for the Breeze this season after working her way back from a foot injury she suffered during the WNBA season where she averaged 9.8 points, 2.4 rebounds and 4.7 assists in 20 games in Indiana's backcourt.
I’m good y’all. Been grindin’ everyday to get back before the Unrivaled season ended, which was always the plan. But things didn’t work out the way we hoped for and we had to adjust. Overall, I’m grateful to be here and I'm locked in on my return, which will be very soon

Her absence leaves a hole on the Breeze's roster with no primary ball handler behind former No. 1 pick Paige Bueckers with a handful of fames left to go.
