The Chicago Sky beat the Los Angeles Sparks 92-85 on Sunday at Crypto.com Arena, with five players scoring in double figures.

Angel Reese led the team with 24 points and 16 rebounds, marking her fourth consecutive game with at least 15 rebounds and breaking her own WNBA record for the longest streak of 15+ rebound games.

Sky Coach Tyler Marsh even offered the forward praise following her play in the victory.

"Angel was incredible tonight. Obviously missing KC, she had to do a little bit more," said Marsh. "You can't say enough. It's little things she does as well that doesn't get the notice."

After the game, Reese's mom took to social media to express her pride regarding her daughter's performance.

"Both kids are in LA right now. Wish I was there to give a hug of congratulations to 1 & a hug of encouragement to the other. #proudmom," she wrote.

Reese replied to her mom with a heartfelt message, reminding her who she plays for.

"Love you mom! This for YOU!" Reese wrote

Sunday’s game marked Reese’s 50th career appearance, where she continued to make WNBA history.

She now holds the record for the most rebounds through a player’s first 50 games with 647, surpassing the Connecticut Sun's Tina Charles’ 565.

The victory against the Sparks saw Reese join A’ja Wilson, Jonquel Jones, and Lisa Leslie as the only players to post three consecutive games with at least 15 points and 15 rebounds. Each of them later won the WNBA MVP award.

Chicago now looks to ride this high into Minnesota, where the team will face the Minnesota Lynx in an attempt to earn back-to-back victories for the second time this season.
