Chicago Sky’s Angel Reese continues to solidify her position as a trailblazer both on and off the court.

The 23-year-old’s striking presence in the WNBA and her influence in fashion had inspired fans and shown them that nothing is impossible.

In her latest Instagram post, the Sky forward spoke about breaking barriers and achieving milestones.

The short clip featured the behind-the-scenes moments during Reese’s Met Gala appearance, dressed in a striking black and white gown designed by Thom Browne.

The outfit showcased a modern take on the classic suit, which also aligned with the ceremony’s theme “Superfine: Tailoring Black Style.”

“Becoming the first at many things, so this can become a norm for US!” she wrote.

Interestingly, the video also showcased a voice-over highlighting Reese’s achievements beyond basketball.

“Guys, Angel Reese will not be Angel Reese if she were not out here looking gorgeous and setting trends,” as mentioned in the voiceover, adding, “If you guys don't remember, Angel is the first WNBA or NBA player to be featured on the solo cover for Vogue magazine.”

Moreover, the clip also highlighted her second time attending the Met Gala, where she served as a member of the host committee along with high-profile figures like Simone Biles, Sha'Carri Richardson, Spike Lee, André 3000, Ayo Edebiri and more.

The post quickly sparked reactions from fans who applauded her achievements.

“That girl on & off the court,” one wrote.

“THE. FIRST,” a fan said, echoing Reese’s message.

“Love this so much,” a commenter chimed in.

“Angel, you’re That Girl,” a social media user added.

A fan also called her the “IT girl,” which refers to a woman who has a magnetic presence and trendsetting style.

Reese’s followers hyped her up with reactions like “Killing the game, sis!” and “She is a Star” appearing throughout the comments.

Beyond her success on the court and her standout appearances at the Met Gala and in Vogue, Reese secured various endorsement deals with major brands such as Reebok, fast food giant McDonald’s, Reese’s Puffs and more.
