Angel Reese is not letting the Chicago Sky's 93-58 blowout loss to Caitlin Clark and the Indiana Fever bother her.
The All-Star forward had a historic performance in their season opener, finishing with a double-double of 12 points and 17 rebounds. According to Polymarket Hoops, she's the "fastest player" in WNBA history to tally at least 450 points and 450 rebounds.
Unfortunately for Reese and the Sky, their offense just wouldn't click. They finished with a 29.1 percent shooting clip, a stark contrast to Indiana's 46.1 percent shooting from the field.
Reese was also involved in controversy in the contest after she was fouled hard by Clark late in the third quarter. The Sky star almost had a confrontation with her rival, although she was stopped by the other players on the court before things escalated.
Despite the loss and the ugly moment she was involved in, Reese appears to be quickly moving on.
After the game, she posted a selfie while in athletic gear on her Instagram Stories. In another post, she shared a photo with her friends, which she captioned, "MY HEART IS SO FULL. MY LOVESSSS."

Clearly, Angel Reese is not letting the early loss prevent her from enjoying the game and showing appreciation for her family, friends and career.
Reese and the Sky are now heading home and will have a long break before returning to action. They play again on Thursday with a matchup against Sabrina Ionescu and the New York Liberty, who won their opening game against the Las Vegas Aces, 98-72.
