The Atlanta Dream defeated the Washington Mystics, 89-56, on Sunday. It was a second-half avalanche for the Dream, as they dominated on both ends of the floor, and the Mystics did not have an answer. Allisha Gray led the way for the Dream with a career-high 32 points and rookie Te-Hina Paopao followed with a career-high 16 points.

The Dream have been clicking as of late, and whether it's on offense or defense, they've been finding different ways to win games. Against the Mystics, they were able to dial in from the perimeter, and they made franchise history on Sunday.

The Dream finished with 18 3-pointers in the game and after the 17th make, they made franchise history.

"The Atlanta Dream have broken franchise history with 17 three-pointers made in a game, with 2:44 mins remaining the the fourth quarter. The WNBA record is 19 set earlier this season," the Dream wrote on X, formerly Twitter.

The Dream were hot from behind the arc, as Gray made six of them and Paopao had four for herself. Head coach Karl Smesko had let it be known that space and pace were going to be the philosophy that he lived by and it came to fruition against the Mystics.

Though the Dream are 8-3, there are still some things they want to improve on as the season progresses, but they are in a good spot and are playing some good basketball. Their next matchup will be a true test of where they stand, as they face the New York Liberty on Tuesday night 7.pm. ET.
