Caitlin Clark played just 13 games in the 2025 season due to a groin injury and a bone bruise. She averaged 16.5 points, 5.0 rebounds, 8.8 assists and 1.6 steals, although she wasn't able to join the Indiana Fever in the Commissioner's Cup championship and the WNBA playoffs.
Despite being sidelined for a long time, the situation did not prevent Clark from developing a close bond with her teammates. While she was recovering, she was a constant presence in Fever games, often cheering from the sidelines.
Throughout the season, Clark got closer to her fellow Fever guard Sophie Cunningham. When Cunningham suffered a season-ending torn right MCL, she and Clark were often seen showing support to their teammates.
On social media, the two poke fun at each other whenever they can. In fact, in the past, Cunningham said Clark is the last person she would want to handle her socials because of her online antics.
On Wednesday, Cunningham was back at it again when it came to trolling her All-Star teammate. When the Fever played the "Pass the Phone" game, she had a hilarious description of Clark.
"I'm passing the phone to someone who needs a tan and has the attention span of a fish," Cunningham said before the video switched to Clark.
Clark has yet to address Cunningham's message, but fans couldn't help but find it amusing how the two often troll each other.
"Lol Ofc Soph's gonna troll on CC every chance she gets," a commenter wrote. Another one said, "Sophie and Caitlin constantly taking cheap shots at each other will never not be hilarious."
"Sophie cracking on Caitlin never gets old. Fever content department earning the paycheck this week," a poster added.
"Tan and attention span of a fish lol The burns between CC and Sophie begin for the season. Lol," a fan stated.
