On Wednesday, the WNBA announced the receipients of the WNBA Players of the Week award.

The Eastern Conference Player of the Week is Breanna Stewart of the New York Liberty, who led the team to a 3-0 record during the week while averaging 20.0 points, 12.0 rebounds and 6.3 assists.

The Western Conference Player of the Week is Napheesa Collier of the Minnesota Lynx, who led the team to a 2-1 record during the week while averaging 22.0 points, 14.3 rebounds and 4.0 assists.

On the season, Stewart is averaging 23.3 points, 9.4 rebounds, 3.8 assists, 1.6 blocks and 1.5 steals per game, while shooting 46.8% from the field, 35.9% from three-point range and 84.7% from the field.

The Liberty are an East-best 31-7 so far this season. New York has the WNBA's second-best offense (scoring 109.3 points per 100 possessions) and second-best defense (allowing 98.5 points per 100 possessions), trailing only the Las Vegas Aces (who have 112.5 offensive rating and 97.6 defensive rating).

On the season, Collier is averaging 21.3 points, 8.4 rebounds, 2.5 assists, 1.6 steals and 1.2 blocks, while shooting 47.9% from the field, 29.7% from three-point range and 83.8% from the free-throw line. The Lynx are currently 19-19, which is the third-best record in the West. They have the WNBA's eighth-best offense (scoring 99.8 points per 100 possessions) and 10th-best defense (allowing 105.4 points per 100 possessions).
