Brittney Griner, in her first season with the Atlanta Dream, helped her team to the most wins in franchise history during the regular season, finishing with a 30-14 record and the No. 3 seed in the WNBA playoffs. However, the Dream's season came to a close in the opening round thanks to a 2-1 series loss to the Caitlin Clark-less Indiana Fever.

Griner, 34, now finishes her 12th season in the WNBA, spending the first 11 years with the Phoenix Mercury. But in light of Diana Taurasi's retirement, Griner signed a one-year, $214,466 deal with Atlanta ahead of the 2025 season. In 39 games, the former Baylor center averaged 9.8 points, 5.2 rebounds and 1.2 blocks, but she was moved to the bench late in the season and during the playoffs.

Now, Griner’s contract with the Dream has expired, making her an unrestricted free agent for the 2026 season. But she has already identified another career she hopes to pursue as the offseason begins.

On Friday, Griner shared on social media that she is considering moving into streaming, specifically on Twitch, a platform primarily known for live video game content.

"Thinking about hitting up Twitch... what would y'all want to see? ," Griner asked on Threads.

Griner also asked fans for advice on what equipment she should buy for her new streaming venture.

"Tag any equipment y'all think I need for an elite Twitch experience," Griner added.

Twitch offers more than just live video game content, featuring other forms of entertainment as well. Minnesota Lynx stars Courtney Williams and Natisha Heideman have grown their Twitch channel, “StudBudz,” which included live streams from WNBA All-Star Weekend in Indianapolis.

Twitch streaming has also gained traction in the NBA, with stars such as Luka Doncic, Devin Booker and Paul George among those who run their own channels.
