Brittney Griner Reveals Her 'Biggest Flex' in Candid Moment

The Atlanta Dream may have had a shaky start to their 2025 WNBA campaign, but Friday’s thrilling 92-91 victory over the Indiana Fever gave fans something to cheer about. It marked the Dream’s first win of the season, and Brittney Griner was right at the heart of it. The veteran forward poured in 10 points and grabbed eight rebounds to lead her new team, proving she’s quickly becoming a cornerstone in Atlanta.

Griner’s move to the Dream this offseason after 11 seasons with the Phoenix Mercury has been one of the league’s most talked-about transitions. And it didn’t take long for her to make an impact. In just her second regular-season game with Atlanta, she not only led the team to victory but also made history. With her sixth rebound of the night, Griner passed Tangela Smith to climb into 20th on the WNBA’s all-time rebounding list.

But it wasn’t just her on-court dominance making headlines. In a lighthearted moment shared by the Dream, Griner and her teammates opened up about their 'biggest flex.' “What’s your biggest flex?” she responded with a grin, “My third Olympic ring, so I guess that’s a little bit of a flex.”

The moment revealed more than just athletic pride it showed personality. While Griner flaunted Olympic gold, others had their own takes. One player chimed in, “My biggest flex is that I can bake macarons really good,” while another shouted out her mom: “I love her. Shout out to my mom.”

With her 6th rebound of the night, Brittney Griner climbs into the top 20 in WNBA history for total rebounds. BG passes Tangela Smith (2,335) to take sole possession of 20th all-time.
