The Atlanta Dream saw their four-game winning streak snapped Friday night. If that wasn't disappointing enough, the Dream lost to the previously one-win Connecticut Sun.

After the loss, Dream forward Brittney Griner was not pleased with her team's performance.

The Sun outscored the Dream in the second and fourth quarters. Connecticut also matched Atlanta's 26-point output in the third quarter.

The start of the game was better for the Dream. But the Sun largely outperformed Atlanta in the 84-76 Connecticut win.

"We got some good stuff to go back and look at, and then we have some stuff that we really need to work on," Griner told reporters after the loss. "So, we'll get back to practice.

"We're not gonna let this one hold us over, but definitely learn from it and on to the next team."

The Dream have a little time off before their next game. They will host the Indiana Fever at 7:30 p.m. ET Tuesday in a game that could mark the return from injury of Fever star Caitlin Clark.

The matchup will be Atlanta's first home game since May 25. That was a 79-55 victory against the Sun.

Although the Dream lost, Griner turned in another solid performance. The veteran forward was tied for the team lead with 18 points while shooting 7-of-10 from the field.

Griner also had six rebounds and a block.

In six games with the Dream this season, the 34-year-old is averaging 13.2 points, 6.3 rebounds and under an assist per game while shooting 48.5%. Last season, Griner posted 17.8 points, 6.6 rebounds and 2.3 assists while making 57.9% of her shots with the Phoenix Mercury.

The loss to the Sun dropped the Dream to 5-3 this season.
