As the Atlanta Dream fight with the New York Liberty for the top spot in the WNBA's Eastern Conference, Brittney Griner appears ready for her squad to continue being among The W's elite teams.

The Dream take on the Seattle Storm on Thursday with the Western Conference team going an impressive 7-3 in their last 10 games. Griner took to social media to send a strong message ahead of the WNBA showdown.

The Dream center posted an Instagram Reel with a six-word caption. Griner shared a highlight video from the team's recent game against the Liberty with the song "Woke Up" by Sheff G and Sleepy Hallow.

"All gas, no brakes ⛽️⛽️⛽️ ️TL GAMEDAY // 7:30PM," Griner noted in the Instagram post on Thursday.

The Dream received good news on Thursday as star guard Allisha Gray won her second consecutive Eastern Conference Player of the Month honor. Minnesota Lynx Napheesa Collier won her second straight Western Conference award as well.

As for Griner, it has been an interesting first season in Atlanta. The center is on pace to have her worst statistical season, but the Dream are among the best teams in The W.

Griner is averaging 10.1 points, 5.6 rebounds and 1.3 blocks per game in 15 starts this season. This has Griner in danger of missing the WNBA All-Star Game for the first time since she was detained in 2022 as the veteran has made three straight appearances during the seasons she has played.

It is worth noting that the Dream appear to be helping Griner balance her workload. Griner is averaging 23.8 minutes per game this season, nearly five less minutes per contest than the star played with the Phoenix Mercury in 2024.
