The Atlanta Dream are looking to become a competitive team this season after six straight seasons with a losing record. On Tuesday, they notched a sizable win by defeating Caitlin Clark and the Indiana Fever by a final score of 91-90.

They got off to a strong start and led 31-23 at the end of the first quarter, and they held off two rallies by Indiana to escape with a win and improve their season record to 1-1.

New Dream center Brittney Griner took to social media right after the end of the game to celebrate the victory by sharing a post that threw a little shade at the Fever.

"Fever caught a little cold... DREAM WIN!!" the caption of the original post read.

Griner is one of the more decorated players in the WNBA right now. She has been selected to appear in 10 All-Star games, and she has also won two scoring titles and two Defensive Player of the Year awards while leading the league in blocked shots eight times.

In 2014, which was just her second season in the pros, she helped lead the Phoenix Mercury to the WNBA championship. That year, she averaged 15.6 points, 8.0 rebounds and 3.8 blocks per game while shooting 57.8% from the field.

Last year, she put up 17.8 points on 57.9% shooting from the field, 6.6 boards, 2.3 assists and 1.5 blocks a game for Phoenix. She signed with Atlanta as a free agent back in February.

On Tuesday, Griner had 21 points on 8-of-13 overall shooting, eight rebounds, two assists and one block in Atlanta's win over Clark and crew. Clark went 9-of-20 overall and 5-of-11 from 3-point range, giving her 27 points to go along with 11 assists, five rebounds and two steals.
