Caitlin Clark is carrying high expectations coming into her second WNBA season. The Indiana Fever star made a strong statement last year and took her team to the postseason for the first time since 2016 with a 20-20 record.

After a busy offseason, the bar is much higher for the Fever and their star. Clark wasn't able to win a national championship with the Iowa Hawkeyes in college and is eager to win one as a pro.

The Fever went out and brought in several veterans to help Clark, including Aliyah Boston, Kelsey Mitchell and Co., to challenge for the championship that currently belongs to the New York Liberty

Once she returned to the Fever's facilities to start the training camp, reporters haven't stopped asking questions about the team's expectations for 2025. A championship would be the ultimate collective goal for the former No. 1 overall pick, and she's aware of that.

During a Wednesday conversation (via Meghan Hall on X), Clark was asked if the team was thinking about going all the way to the championship.

"Yeah, absolutely," she responded.

Then, when discussing what success would look like for Indiana, she didn't hesitate.

"A championship," Clark said instantly.

The Fever added intriguing pieces such as Natasha Howard, DeWanna Bonner, and Sydney Colson to help their young star lead the team to the promised land.

Four days into training camp, the spirits are high within the Fever. They will tip off preseason with two games this weekend, first going against the Washington Mystics on Saturday before clashing against the Brazilian national team on Sunday.
