Indiana Fever basketball is back. Fans and media personnel have gone into a frenzy preparing to watch Caitlin Clark in her second season in the WNBA.
Last season with the Indiana Fever, Clark made her mark early in her professional career.
Clark was named Rookie of the Year and earned a role as a WNBA All-Star starter. Two teammates, Aliyah Boston and Kelsey Mitchell, also made the All-Star team.
As Clark looks to replicate and even strengthen her play on the court, she spoke with the media to explain what that might look like and even gave them a peek of her custom Kobe shoes, which she's wearing for the Fever debut.
"They're custom, so you won't get them," Clark said. "I think they are the Rookie of the Year Kobe PEs. There's a picture that the Fever took after the season that I had my trophy. I was in my red uniform, so that's what they're based out of."

On Saturday, Caitlin Clark and the Indiana Fever were set to face Angel Reese and the Chicago Sky in their season debut.
Clark was kicking off the season against what many view as her "rival."
Last season, Reese was the runner-up in Rookie of the Year voting. The two also bumped heads in college, when they faced off in the national title game in 2023, which was won by Reese and the LSU Tigers.
During Clark's rookie season, she averaged 19.2 points, 5.7 rebounds and 8.4 assists per game.
Now, she's headed into her second season in the league, looking to lead the Fever to a WNBA title, while wearing a reminder to her rookie season.
