Caitlin Clark knocked down four triples on Tuesday night in the Indiana Fever's 88-71 blowout win against the Connecticut Sun. The All-Star guard caught fire in the first half, knocking down three long bombs before the break.

One could argue, though, that Clark saved her best triple for last. The reigning WNBA Rookie of the Year's fourth and final trey didn't come until the 3:55 mark of the fourth quarter. However, it turned out to be one of the biggest shots of the night, as it gave the Fever a 20-point lead against the Sun.

There was just no coming back for Connecticut from that point, and Clark knew well that she had just put the final nail in the coffin for the Sun. It resulted in a hyped celebration from the Fever star right after knocking down the huge three.

Clark was clearly animated after making the shot, and it even seemed like she had some choice words for her opponents in the heat of the moment.

After the game, Clark was asked by reporters to shed some light on the way she celebrated her three. The former Iowa star was quick to play down her emotional moment on the court.

"I was just excited about that shot," she said. "It was my first three of the second half, so pretty excited about that.”

Emotions were running high for both sides in this one. Clark herself was involved in a heated incident earlier in the game that saw her get hit with a technical foul.

Clark couldn't help but retaliate after getting poked in the eye. She shoved Sun guard Jacy Sheldon, which resulted in a couple of other Connecticut players getting involved in the altercation.

Clark ended up hitting the deck after being shoved, which led to multiple technical fouls for players on both teams.

At the end of it all, however, it was Clark who got the last laugh after leading the Fever to an impressive blowout victory.
