Caitlin Clark drops to fifth in All-Star fan votes

It is important to note that Clark finished first among all players in fan votes over the past two seasons. This is exactly why more than a few fans could not believe that she dropped all the way to fifth in this year’s vote.

“Zero chance that is accurate –

” a comment on Instagram read.

“Not buying into this from the W. No way CC is #5. If you haven’t voted, go vote daily,” said another.

“Something’s wrong here! Seriously, no way Caitlin’s #5,” declared a supporter.

“Wow this looks rigged

ain’t no way CC is #5?!” a reaction read.

“Xfinity RIGGING the votes,” another said.

“They are rigging everything im sure bits are involved fans have to get one voting,” a fan wrote.

The good news for Clark fans is that this is just the first batch of votes. Supporters still have a chance to pull Clark’s standing as voting runs through June 27.

Fan votes account for 50% of the total tally. Players and the media will also vote, each accounting for 25% of the total vote.

This year’s All-Star Game will be held at United Center in Chicago on July 25. At this point, Clark fans still have plenty of time to make sure she finishes at the top of the vote for a third straight year.
