The Indiana Fever have been decimated by injuries this season, including season-ending injuries to guards Caitlin Clark, Sophie Cunningham, Sydney Colson, Aari McDonald and Chloe Bibby.
One of the only healthy guards from the opening night roster, Lexie Hull, has been a bit luckier - but only a bit. Through the final few weeks of the regular season Hull has picked up a number of nasty bruises, including two black eyes following a collision with Seattle Storm's Gabby Williams.
When asked about Hull's collision with Williams, Fever head coach Stephanie White praised the guard's toughness.
"Every time I see her, I'm like, 'Oh, poor Lexie,'" White said at the time. "But you know, I think it really epitomizes Lexie's toughness when you look at her and you see those two black eyes. I mean, she's tough as nails, you know. She plays all out, every possession, all the time, and sometimes the result is two black eyes, and so I smile every time I see her. And but it definitely is a picture perfect viewpoint of the toughness that she brings."
Hull, back at full strength, recently celebrated her 26th birthday with twin Lacie. Instead of accepting gifts, though, the Fever guard handed out new swag for all of her teammates ahead of the team's playoff game against the Atlanta Dream.

Clark went with the light blue bag, while black seemed to be a popular choice amongst Hull's teammates. Indiana will be back out on the court on Sunday, Sept. 14 at 3 p.m. ET for a first round playoff game against the Dream.
Sunday's contest will be broadcast on ABC.
