Caitlin Clark headed into Tuesday's Commissioner's Cup championship against the Minnesota Lynx as a game-time decision, which meant that there was some hope that she would be able to suit up for the Indiana Fever.
This was not to be the case, though, as the team opted to have their cornerstone superstar sit out again while she continues to nurse a concerning groin injury.
This decision left more than a few fans disappointed, especially those who had come to Target Center to see Clark take the court and potentially secure her first championship in the WNBA.
Clark did what she could for the fans in attendance amid her injury absence. The Fever posted a video of the reigning Rookie of the Year signing autographs before the game for five full minutes.

Clark also conversed with the fans while signing autographs, expressing her gratitude for their support.
Clark is now being praised on social media for her gesture to her supporters.
"Nice of her. Hopefully she gets better and back on the court asap," a comment on X read.
"Only player that would do this," another said.
"My " wrote a fan.
"LMAOOOO 5 MINS OF AUTOS IN THE CHAMPIONSHIP GAME ON THE ROAD caitlin has too much aura " a reaction read.
"Love this so much!!" said another.
"Thank you @CaitlinClark22 ☝️" a user posted.
Clark won't be able to personally thank each and every one of her fans inside Target Center, but she's certainly doing what she can to reach out to some of them.
