Caitlin Clark Had Two Words After Indiana Fever Sign New Teammates on Monday

The Indiana Fever announced on Sunday that they had signed veteran guard Odyssey Sims to a seven-day hardship contract. This is after the team lost both of their backup point guards, Aari McDonald and Sydney Colson, to season-ending injuries, on top of Caitlin Clark still without a timetable for her return from a lingering groin problem.

Apart from Sims, the Fever also signed five new members to their squad on Monday.

“we’re proud to welcome five athletes from Special Olympics of Indiana as our newest teammates they got glammed up, made their red carpet debuts, joined us for practice, and picked up some fresh fits at the @feverteamstore ” the Fever posted on Instagram.

None of these five new members of the team will be taking the court, though, and this move was primarily an endearing gesture from the Fever to show their support for the athletes of Special Olympics of Indiana.

Be that as it may, the announcement quickly drew attention on social media. This included a two-word message from Clark.

“My heart,” she wrote on the comments section.

In another video posted by the Fever, Clark can be seen leading the team in cheering for their new signees as they put pen to paper on their respective deals. It was a touching moment to see the entire Fever squad rallying behind the athletes.

Based on her reaction above, it is clear that Clark got a little bit emotional, too, during the moment and after seeing the photos on Instagram.
