Indiana Fever star Caitlin Clark made a successful return to the court on Saturday following a five-game absence due to a quad injury.
Against the New York Liberty, Clark exploded for 32 points and recorded eight rebounds and nine assists to lead the Fever to a 102-88 victory.
While Clark had seven turnovers, she was still impactful on all fronts, tallying two blocks and a steal on the defensive end. She also shot 55% from the field and made seven shots from deep out of 14 attempts.
Following the win, Clark was quick to celebrate her return, posting several photos of herself from the game on social media and writing in the caption, "good to be back."
Amusingly enough, the Fever guard was her usual self, as she poked fun at one of her teammates in her new post. On her Instagram Stories, she highlighted one photo showing herself taking a 3-pointer while Fever backup Sophie Cunningham was kneeling in the background.
"Bro u good?" Clark wrote while tagging Cunningham.

Sophie Cunningham, who also returned from a three-game absence due to an ankle injury, has yet to respond to Caitlin Clark's message. Considering that they often engage in lighthearted banter on social media, though, fans can probably expect a response from her soon.
Cunningham did play well in her first game back, as she tallied five points, four rebounds and one steal in 25 minutes of play off the bench. She had the highest plus-minus rating on the team at +31, highlighting her impact on the game.
