Caitlin Clark and the Indiana Fever fell to 2-2 on the young 2025 WNBA season after a 90-88 loss to the defending champs, the New York Liberty.

Clark struggled despite posting a double-double with 18 points and 10 assists. She shot just 6-of-18 from the field and 2-of-11 from beyond the arc. The reigning Rookie of the Year also had trouble taking care of the ball, committing 10 turnovers — the most she’s had in a game since her WNBA debut last season.

However, Clark’s teammate Aliyah Boston had a big game on Saturday, finishing with 27 points, 13 rebounds and two assists.

Boston took to social media on Sunday, sharing several photos and videos from the first four games of the WNBA season.

"Hoop life lately," Boston captioned it.

Clark was scrolling through Instagram like everyone else and saw the post, leaving a comment for Boston.

"Proud of u ," Clark wrote.

Clark and Boston have been teammates since the start of last season and share many similarities in their young careers. Both were No. 1 overall picks by the Fever — Boston in 2023, Clark in 2024 — and each won Rookie of the Year, earned All-Star honors as rookies and took home the Naismith College Player of the Year award in college.

Clark and Boston will look to get back on track Wednesday night when the Fever host the Washington Mystics at Gainbridge Fieldhouse. Tip-off is set for 7:30 p.m. ET. The game will be televised on NBA TV.

Indiana already beat Washington once this year, winning its preseason opener on May 3, 79-74.
