The Indiana Fever struggled through their first three games of the season, going 1-2. However, Caitlin Clark has been producing elite numbers across the board and proving that she is back to 100%.
In 2025, she was limited to 13 games due to quad, ankle and groin injuries. The superstar guard has since fully recovered and is showing that she is ready to lead her team to more success. Clark has spearheaded Indiana’s turnaround, winning three consecutive games to improve to 4-2.
The two-time All-Star averages 23.8 points, including 3.2 three-pointers, along with 4.4 rebounds, 9.0 assists, 1.0 steals and 1.0 blocks. Clark and Kelsey Mitchell have arguably formed the best backcourt in the WNBA this season, while Aliyah Boston stars inside the paint.
Clark has appeared in five games, scoring at least 20 points in each. However, she is not the only one in the league who has achieved it. Los Angeles Sparks guard Kelsey Plum matched the record by scoring 36 against the Las Vegas Aces on Saturday.
Clark has no officially lost her exclusive spot in the early-season 20-point club.

It’s worth noting that Plum has played six games and scored 16 versus the Phoenix Mercury on Thursday. Clark, on the other hand, sat one game. They receive almost equal playing time, with 29.9 and 31.0 minutes, respectively.
The star guards are two of the early MVP favorites. But it won’t be surprising if other WNBA superstars like A’ja Wilson and Breanna Stewart challenge them as the season progresses.
The Fever and Sparks already met on May 13, with Indiana winning 87-78. They will have two more regular-season matchups, giving fans the opportunity to watch Clark and Plum go head-to-head. Both games will be nationally televised.
They will meet again on June 27 at Gainbridge Fieldhouse. Tip-off is set for 8 p.m. ET, and CBS will air it live.
