Caitlin Clark is heading into her second WNBA season as a superstar point guard for the Indiana Fever.
As the WNBA's No. 1 overall pick in 2024, Clark shattered several all-time league records and led the Fever to the postseason for the first time since 2016. Averaging 19.2 points, 5.7 rebounds and a WNBA-leading 8.4 assists per game, she was recognized as the near-unanimous 2024 Rookie of the Year.
While Clark is entering the second year of her WNBA career, she's entering the third year of her relationship with her boyfriend, Connor McCaffery.
In a viral social media post on Thursday, Clark shared the news of her second anniversary with McCaffrey.
"Another year with my favorite person :) I’m so thankful for you," Clark wrote on Instagram.
"2 years [infinity sign] keep being u," McCaffery wrote in his own Instagram post.
Clark, 23, and McCaffery, 26, began dating in April 2023 when they were both students and basketball players at the University of Iowa. McCaffery took a staff job with the Indiana Pacers after graduation in 2023, and now works as an assistant coach for the Butler Bulldogs men's basketball team.
"One year of the best mems w my fav person. you make everyday better and I can’t wait for many more adventures together… love you," Clark wrote in a post for their first anniversary in 2024.
Clark and the Fever will begin their 2025 regular-season WNBA campaign with a highly-anticipated matchup against Angel Reese and the Chicago Sky on May 17.
