The showdown at T-Mobile Arena between the Indiana Fever and the Las Vegas Aces on Sunday finds both teams jockeying for position just past the season’s quarter pole.
Entering the contest, the Fever sit at .500 with a 6-6 record, while the Aces sit a game back at 5-7.
Amid the buildup, Fever star Caitlin Clark took a moment to spotlight the quiet, but impactful, contributions of her teammate, Lexie Hull.
Asked about Hull’s presence and production, Clark said, "I think Lex has been tremendous, and obviously she’s a player that probably doesn’t get a ton of credit. And she’s not one to care at all, but I think the way she impacts the game for us … her offensive skillset has just continued to grow, which has been fun to watch. She’s one of the most selfless people I’ve ever been around."

Through 12 games this season, Clark is averaging 19.9 points, 8.7 assists and 5.7 rebounds per contest, ranking among the WNBA’s top five in each category.
Just days ago in Indianapolis, the Fever clinched a berth in the Commissioner’s Cup finals with an 88-71 victory over the Connecticut Sun, a game in which Clark led the charge with 20 points, six assists and two steals.
While Clark commands headlines, Hull has quietly carved out her own niche as a rising two-way talent.
A former Stanford Cardinal and a member of the 2021 national championship team, Hull entered the league as a reputed defender, earning two Pac-12 All-Defensive Team honors and three All-Pac-12 selections.
Through her first three WNBA seasons, she has steadily expanded her offensive repertoire, and in 2025, she’s averaging career highs of 9.1 points, 4.1 rebounds and 1.8 assists per game, while adding 1.1 steals to her stat line.
