Caitlin Clark Overshadows Angel Reese, Paige Bueckers In New WNBA Record

Perhaps Caitlin Clark’s biggest card was a Panini Select card, which she had autographed and sold in an auction for $234,850 last December.

However, that price was soon surpassed by the Prizm Gold Vinyl, also signed by Clark, which cost $366,000, making it the highest price for women’s cards all-time. The card also received perfect grades from PSA.

Only Caitlin Clark had achieved the feat of her cards significantly increasing in value. Fans will see her back in action this May 17, where she’ll face fellow rookie sensation Angel Reese and the Chicago Sky.

Caitlin Clark uncertain in upcoming preseason game

Caitlin Clark has long been preparing for the WNBA season. However, she is listed as questionable for the Indiana Fever’s preseason game against the Washington Mystics due to injury, per the Fever’s report on X/Twitter.

“Caitlin Clark – Questionable (Left Leg),” the post wrote.

IndyStar’s Chloe Peterson also reported that Caitlin Clark is the only player uncertain for Thursday’s game. However, she did reveal that Clark had been performing during her training session.

“She [Clark] participated in the portion of practice open to the media Friday afternoon, competing in the half-court shot contest and getting some extra shots up after practice,” Peterson noted.

“She did wear sweatpants during Friday’s practice, so it’s unknown if she was wearing a brace or any protection on her leg.”

Per Peterson’s report, the warning could just be a precaution, and Caitlin Clark can still play. But Fever head coach Stephanie White could opt to rest her star player to prepare for the regular season starting on May 17.

Other than Clark, the Fever also has stars like Aliyah Boston, DeWanna Bonner, and Natasha Howard, giving them a fight in the Mystics match.

After facing Washington tomorrow, the Fever will face the Atlanta Dream in May 11 for their final preseason game.
