Caitlin Clark was out of commission yet again on Thursday night as the Indiana Fever notched their third straight win with an 81-54 blowout victory against the Las Vegas Aces.

Clark sat out again with a lingering groin injury, which forced her to watch her team from the bench for a fourth consecutive contest. The newly crowned WNBA All-Star Game captain, however, was, as usual, very animated on the sidelines as she cheered on her teammates.

At one point in the game, Clark was seen high-fiving head coach Stephanie White after the latter received a technical foul for complaining to the referees. The reigning Rookie of the Year was clearly excited after seeing the burst of emotion from White.

Clark then took to social media after the game to send a message to her coach. The 23-year-old decided to express how proud she is of White for her actions during the game.

“Awesome job coach,” Clark posted on Instagram.

Coach White said after the win that she was "making a point" to the referees with her sudden outburst. She also alluded to potentially receiving another fine from the WNBA because of her actions, but noted that "Caitlin said she got me."

The Fever coach added that Clark "got a bonus." This is in reference to the $500,000 cash prize from Indiana's Commissioner's Cup victory, which has been divided among the players on the squad.

Clark did not confirm whether she plans to cover White's potential fine, but the Fever star made it clear that she approves of her coach's intensity during the game.
