The Indiana Fever and superstar guard Caitlin Clark have started up practice in preparation for the upcoming 2025 WNBA season.

Fans cannot wait to get their first look at Clark to begin her second professional season. In year one, she did not disappoint, taking home many individual records and Rookie of the Year honors.

Clark is expected to perform even better in her second season.

As a rookie, Clark played in 40 games. She averaged 19.2 points per game to go along with 8.4 assists, 5.7 rebounds, and 1.3 steals, while shooting 41.7% from the floor and 34.4% from the 3-point arc.

RotoWire has revealed their projections for Clark during the 2025 campaign. They see her averaging 20.5 points, 8.1 assists, 5.7 rebounds, and 1.2 steals per game and shooting 43.8% from the floor and 35% from 3-point range.

With those numbers, Clark would join rare WNBA company.

During the 2024 WNBA season, only five players averaged 20 or more points per game. Those players were A'ja Wilson, Arike Ogunbowale, Kahleah Copper, Breanna Stewart, and Napheesa Collier.

Being able to join the 20 points per game club would be a big move for Clark.

Outside of her personal numbers, Clark is all about team success. She helped lead the Fever to the WNBA playoffs last season and is hungry for more in 2025. Many expect her to compete for the WNBA MVP award as well.

Indiana is set to begin its preseason schedule on May 3 against the Washington Mystics. The regular season will tip off on May 17 with an anticipated matchup against Angel Reese and the Chicago Sky.
