The Indiana Fever had plenty to celebrate on Thursday after the WNBA officially unveiled the starters for the 2026 All-Star Game. Three Fever players earned starting spots, with Caitlin Clark, Kelsey Mitchell and Aliyah Boston all receiving the honor after a combination of fan, media and player voting.
It marks another milestone for a franchise that has emerged as one of the league's top contenders this season and speaks to the chemistry that has developed among its core stars. While fans quickly flooded social media to congratulate the trio, Clark also made sure to recognize one of her closest teammates.
Shortly after the Fever announced Boston's latest accomplishment, Clark shared the team's celebratory post to her Instagram Story, highlighting Boston's achievement for her own millions of followers.
After the Fever announced that Boston had been named a starter for the 2026 WNBA All-Star Game, Clark reshared the team's post to her Instagram Story.
The post featured Boston celebrating her selection and marked another memorable moment for the former No. 1 overall pick, who continues to establish herself as one of the league's premier frontcourt players.
Clark's reaction wasn't surprising given the close bond the two stars have developed since becoming teammates. Together, they've helped transform the Fever into one of the WNBA's top teams while becoming one of the league's most recognizable duos.
Indiana led all teams with three All-Star starters.
Clark and Mitchell earned two of the four guard spots, while Boston secured one of the six frontcourt positions. They were joined in the starting lineup by Dallas Wings guards Paige Bueckers and Jessica Shepard, Minnesota Lynx stars Olivia Miles and Natasha Howard, New York Liberty forward Breanna Stewart, Golden State Valkyries forward Gabby Williams and Las Vegas Aces superstar A'ja Wilson.
The starters were selected through a voting process that consisted of 50% fan voting, 25% media voting and 25% player voting.
The 2026 WNBA All-Star Game will be held on July 25 at the United Center in Chicago, with All-Star Friday Night taking place the previous evening at Wintrust Arena.
Clark and Boston have become one of the WNBA's premier young duos since joining forces in Indiana. Boston's inside presence and Clark's elite playmaking have helped fuel the Fever's rise, while Mitchell has provided another dynamic scoring option in the backcourt.
Their three All-Star starting selections are another sign of Indiana's progress as one of the league's top teams and one of its biggest attractions.
With the second half of the regular season still ahead and the All-Star festivities later this month, Thursday served as another reminder of just how bright the future remains for the Fever.
