The Indiana Fever are keeping busy in WNBA free agency, and Caitlin Clark is all for it.

It has been a very eventful past few days for the Fever as free agency opened. The biggest development centers on three-time All-Star Kelsey Mitchell, who signed a one-year, $1.4 million deal to extend her Fever tenure.

Indiana also secured new deals for Lexie Hull and Sophie Cunningham, ensuring that the Clark-led core remains intact.

The Fever also extended backup center Damiris Dantas, while bringing in new recruits Tyasha Harris and Monique Billings.

However, they also lost a key piece in Natasha Howard. The reigning Commissioner’s Cup MVP signed with the Minnesota Lynx in free agency, leaving a gaping hole in the front court. The Fever addressed that issue by signing another player on Monday.

The Fever took to social media to announce their latest free agent addition. This comes in the form of 6-foot-1 forward Myisha Hines-Allen, who has officially signed a new contract with the Fever. The details of Hines-Allen’s new deal, however, have not been disclosed.

Clark caught wind of the news, and she just had to react. The two-time All-Star kept her reaction subtle, though, opting to just repost the team’s announcement post via her Instagram stories.

Clark did not include any caption in her post, but it is clear that she has taken note of her team’s latest free agent signing.

Hines-Allen is a tested veteran heading into her ninth year in the WNBA. She played 40 games for the Dallas Wings last season, averaging 7.6 points, 6.0 rebounds and 2.9 assists in 22.1 minutes per game.

Hines-Allen brings her championship experience to Indiana after having won a title with the Washington Mystics in 2019.
