Caitlin Clark Reacts to Nelly Korda Shooting Arcade Hoops on Instagram

Nelly Korda flipped the script on Monday, as the two-time major champion posted an Instagram Story shooting arcade hoops, tagging both Caitlin Clark and LeBron James, asking them whether they had any pointers for her.

Clark, who is heading into her third WNBA season with the Indiana Fever, responded quickly through a Story of her own.

“Banking everything, love it,” the two-time WNBA All-Star wrote. James also followed with his own take, writing, “Looks like you got it all handled!!”

Having said that, the exchange between Caitlin Clark and Nelly Korda was a light moment shared by athletes who have built a genuine cross-sport connection, as they have been paired together at the ANNIKA Pro-Am in Florida for the past two years, with Korda helping Clark on the course and the two developing a friendship that has carried into the offseason.

Furthermore, Korda gifted Clark a pair of her signature Nike Golf shoes last November ahead of the tournament, and when Nelly Korda announced her engagement to Casey Gunderson shortly after, Clark was among the first to respond.

That being said, Monday’s post was not the first time Korda has expressed a genuine interest in basketball.

Nelly Korda Has Her Eye on Basketball Too

Last November, when asked whether she would ever participate in a basketball pro-am, Korda confirmed she already plays on occasion.

“I occasionally play PIG, and I lose every single time,” Nelly Korda said. “It takes me a long time to really get warmed up.”
