Caitlin Clark Responds to Exciting Update on Monday

Caitlin Clark has been playing through her second season in the WNBA, continuing to star for the Indiana Fever. 

During the 2025 season with the Fever, where Clark is playing under head coach Stephanie White, she was involved in major news. 

Nike, a partner of Caitlin Clark, recently announced the drop of Kobe Protro PEs matching the Indiana Fever and their star guard. The sneakers have flashy hues that are connected with the colors of the Fever uniform. 

On Monday, Nike dropped Clark's version of the sneakers were sold out in minutes. They were made available at 10 a.m. ET and were sold out in minutes. 

As Nike announced that the sneakers sold out, they also mentioned that there will be a chance to win a pair of Kobe Protro PEs, as long as fans are connected to the Nike Basketball social media pages. 

"All blur but the buckets," posted Nike Basketball. "When @caitlinclark22 laces up, she locks into her game with untouchable clarity. Tap into that relentless will to win with the new Kobe 5 Protro PE." 

Caitlin Clark then reacted to the update from Nike, sharing their post to over 3.5 million followers on social media. 

Caitlin Clark signed a signature shoe deal with Nike in 2024 after previously being tied to the company in 2022. Her deal with the sneaker giant in 2024 was worth around $28 million, marking a partnership with the company for the next eight years. 

Clark is also involved in several other major partnership including Gatorade and State Farm. 

During her second season with the Indiana Fever, Caitlin Clark scored 18.2 points, 5.0 rebounds and 8.9 assists per game. 

Clark has missed the last two games with the Fever due to a groin injury.
