It started as a closely contested battle in the first quarter, but the table turned in the second quarter. With two minutes left in the second quarter, Las Vegas extended a 10-2 run which established a glaring lead.
After this run, there would be no more ties or lead changes for the rest of the contest.
Aces had three players score 20 points in this game with the leading scorer being A’Ja Wilson. Wilson finished the game with 29 points shooting 12-for-18 (66.7%).

Jackie Young scored a modest 22 points while Kelsey Plum added in another 20 points on her own. Both of them were successful from range scoring three three-point buckets each.
Leading scorer for the fever was guard, Kelsey Mitchell with 18 points for her club. Behind her was center. Temi Fagbenle with 13 points of her own to contribute.
Caitlin Clark just finished one of the worst games of her career only scoring eight points and shooting a low percentage as well. Her stats for the game are overwhelmed with her 2-for-8 (25%) field goal percentage.
It was the first matchup of the former college teammates with Kate Martin and Clark. It was a game to remember for Martin as she outperformed her former teammate.
Clark has seemed to slightly struggle in the WNBA, but her debut in Las Vegas was definitely the most underwhelming of them all.
