When WNBA discussions involve the Indiana Fever, the spotlight usually shines on Caitlin Clark. While Clark remains the main attraction for the Fever, and the entire league, it's one of Clark's teammates who has taken center stage.

The Fever, behind Clark's impressive rookie season, made their first playoff appearance since 2016. While the Fever made an early playoff exit last season being eliminated during the first round, they have their sights set higher this season.

Fever ownership concentrated their efforts on improving their roster around their superstar. They put their plan into action by signing DeWanna Bonner, Natasha Howard, Sydney Colson, and Brianna Turner to offseason contracts. They also acquired Sophie Cunningham via trade from the Phoenix Mercury in early February.

The addition of these talented players, paired with their pre-existing core of Clark, Aliyah Boston, and Kelsey Mitchell has raised the Fever's expectations through the roof.

Cunningham, who was acquired from the Mercury in a four-team trade, has provided a necessary spark as one of the first players off the bench in every one of her game's this season.

Cunningham's strong play for the Fever through their first four games, has made her  the favorite to win the Sixth Woman of the Year award.

As per @PolymarketSport, Cunningham is the favorite to win this major WNBA award at plus-300 odds.

Cunningham is averaging 7.0 points, 4.5 rebounds, 1.5 assists, and 0.5 blocks per game this season. She is also shooting 50% from the field as well as from 3-point range.

Cunningham's name has made headlines for a multitude of reasons this season, as she's been named in a lawsuit involving the Phoenix Suns CEO. Cunningham has denied all allegations from the lawsuit and says she remains fully focused on basketball.

Cunningham's next opportunity to stay locked in and strengthen her odds to win this year's Sixth Woman of the Year award, will come on Wednesday against the Washington Mystics on the road at 7:30 p.m. EDT on NBA TV.
