The Indiana Fever's 77-58 loss to the Atlanta Dream was bad for more reasons than just the WNBA Commissioner's Cup standings.
After a two-game win streak brought some life back into the Caitlin Clark-less Fever, the offense completely fell apart in the team's fifth game without its star point guard due to a quad injury.
It was Indiana's worst shooting performance of the 2025 season. The team set season lows in field goal percentage (21-for-58, 36.2 percent) and three-point percentage (5-for-24, 20.8 percent) in the 19-point loss.
But it was not just a new low for the season — the Fever's 58 points marked the worst offensive performance of the entire Caitlin Clark era.
Including the postseason, the Fever have played 51 games since selecting Clark with the No. 1 overall pick in the 2024 WNBA Draft out of Iowa.
Adding the NCAA's all-time leading scorer immediately gave the team an injection of offense last season. Under head coach Christie Sides, Indiana's 106.1 offensive rating and 85.0 points per game both ranked third in the WNBA.
Clark played all 40 regular season games, averaging a team-leading 19,2 points per game and a league-leading 8.4 assists per game.
The team's lowest point total came in a 102-66 loss to the eventual champions, the New York Liberty, in the second game of Clark's professional career.

The poor showing against Atlanta on Tuesday night made it extremely clear how much the Fever miss the hub of their offense in head coach Stephanie White's system.
On Monday, White said that Clark was ready to start "ramping back up" her basketball activities at practice this week.
After sitting out the game against the Dream, Clark has another three full days to let the muscular injury heal before a potential return against the Liberty on Saturday.
