
Former Iowa Hawkeyes teammates Caitlin Clark and Kate Martin were both in street clothes for their team’s showdown on Saturday.
The supposed sixth matchup between Clark and Martin was postponed due to injuries, as both players are sidelined.
The Indiana Fever welcomed the Los Angeles Sparks to their home floor at Gainbridge Fieldhouse. Ahead of the game, college teammates Clark and Martin were seen catching up.
They even took a photo together, and Just Women's Sports posted a video of this reunion on Instagram.
“The former college teammates will both miss tonight’s Fever vs. Sparks matchup due to injury,” the caption read.
“LOVE THESE TWO ♥️♥️” a fan said.
“Besties ♥️” a user wrote.
“This makes me so happy ” another fan stated.

Clark is currently dealing with a back injury sustained during her previous game against the Phoenix Mercury on Wednesday.
Meanwhile, Martin is recovering from a mid-left-knee strain she sustained last June 17 against the Minnesota Lynx.
Clark and Martin played together for four years in college, suiting up for 139 games for Iowa's backcourt. Although they came up short of winning a Natty, they helped Iowa earn spots in the 2023 and 2024 national championship games.
Indiana defeated Los Angeles, 111-87, to secure their 10th win of the season, while the Sparks absorbed its ninth setback.
