Cameras Catch Caitlin Clark's Vulgar Statement About New Teammate After Fever-Sky Game
Grace Hollars/IndyStar / USA TODAY NETWORK

The Indiana Fever made some big moves in the offseason to shore up their roster for the new campaign. One of them came in the form of six-time All-Star DeWanna Bonner, who signed a one-year deal with Indiana via free agency.

The Fever's offseason moves paid immediate dividends in their first game of the season as Indiana blew out their biggest rivals, the Chicago Sky, 93-58, on Saturday night.

While it was Caitlin Clark who led the way with her historic 20-point, 10-rebound, 10-assist triple-double, Bonner was also able to make her own bit of history in the season opener.

Bonner scored seven points in her Fever debut, which was enough for her to climb the history books. The two-time NBA champion forward now sits at the No. 3 spot on the all-time WNBA scoring list, surpassing Hall of Famer Tina Thompson.

The Fever celebrated Bonner's big night after the win, and the cameras caught what Clark had to say about her new teammate.

Warning: explicit language below.

"The (expletive) GOAT," Clark appears to have said.

While it isn't completely clear what Clark said exactly, it doesn't take an expert lip-reader to determine that there was some vulgarity in her statement about Bonner.

Clark seems to have done so to emphasize her point, which is that, in her mind, Bonner is an all-time great.

Bonner, 37, may no longer be the superstar she once was, but she brings a lot to the table for Indiana. Her wealth of experience will go a long way for this young squad as Clark and Co. look to challenge for the championship this season.
