Being in the WNBA today isn’t just about buckets and blocks, it's also about bringing your A-game to the tunnel. Pre-game fits have become just as much a part of the culture as highlight reels, with fans dissecting every look like it’s Fashion Week.
Some players absolutely nail it. Others … not so much. And when Caitlin Clark had a rare fashion misstep, her close friend and certified style queen Cameron Brink couldn’t help but poke a little fun.
Brink was joined by Sydel Curry-Lee and the duo reacted to a recent outfit worn by Clark and a comment made by a fan about it. She said, “We have to react to this viral post of Caitlin Clark alongside my girl Paige. It says, ‘someone said the mom headed to the superintendent’s office and her 13-year-old kid who got in trouble’. It’s pretty accurate.”
It’s been over a year since Cameron Brink last hit the court. The No. 2 pick in the 2024 WNBA Draft has been out since tearing her ACL in June 2024 during a game against the Connecticut Sun, and the Sparks have been patiently waiting for her comeback.
Even after adding All-Star Kelsey Plum, L.A. is still building its core around Brink, Rae Burrell and Rickea Jackson.
While sidelined, Brink’s kept busy modeling for Sports Illustrated and launching her podcast “Straight to Cam,” which has nearly 18,000 subscribers on YouTube. But now, her return is looking real.
Brink was spotted going hard in workouts during All-Star weekend, and while Tuesday’s game might be too soon, coach Lynne Roberts thinks she’ll be back by the end of July, just in time to boost the Sparks’ playoff hopes.
