Cameron Brink looks ready for a fresh start in 2026. She stepped into Media Day with confidence and a clear focus after a tough start to her pro career.

The Los Angeles Sparks forward missed time during her rookie season with a serious injury. Now, she says she feels strong again. Also, she spoke openly about her progress and her mindset heading into the new season.

“I feel great,” Brink told Swish Appeal. “Just been working with our amazing training staff at the Sparks. And just really taking care of my body, and just enjoying the process of it all. So, feeling great.”

Brink built her name at Stanford University with her all-around game, and now she wants to bring that same versatility back to the WNBA floor.

Brink got attention on Thursday during her team’s Media Day. She posed for photos and showed a special necklace that her teammate Erica Wheeler gifted her.

The moment added a personal touch to the day. The WNBA also shared clips that showed the team’s energy and Brink’s presence.

Brink also shared how she plans to carry her season forward. She wants to play more on the perimeter and help in different ways.

“Hopefully, I’m out on the perimeter a little bit more this year, but I feel like I can be a jack of all trades,” Brink said. “If they need me to set ball screens and roll the rim, I’ll do that.”

The Sparks finished last season with a 21-23 record and want to improve in 2026. Brink could play a big part in that.

She brings size, defense, and versatility. After recovering from an injury that occurred in 2024, she is now expected to make a strong impact.

Media Day gave fans a preview of what’s coming. Brink looked calm, focused, and ready to lead. The new season is close, and she plans to stay healthy and help the team in every way she can.
