The Chicago Sky have won two straight games after beginning the 2025 WNBA season 0-4. Both wins came against the Dallas Wings who now own the league's worst record with a 1-6 start.

Contributions have come from several on Chicago's roster during this modest winning streak. Reigning Rookie of the Year runner-up Angel Reese has pulled down nine rebounds in each of the last two games, while two-time All-Star Ariel Atkins has gotten it done offensively with 21.5 points per contest in this stretch.

As Chicago looks to build on this momentum, the team announced some impactful news off the court.

On Sunday, the Sky made an announcement from their official team account that detailed one of their latest community efforts.

"we teamed up with Chicago Public School’s SCORE (Sports Can Open Roads to Excellence) Program to help the next generation of girls level up their game!" the team wrote in a post on X.

This video, which is just over one minute long, included an inside look at this impactful program that aims to elevate the next generation of girls on and off the basketball court.

The Chicago Board of Education has a 17-page slide show that details the impact this initiative aims to create. Among the stated intentions is an emphasis on increasing academic performance, decreasing violence and giving all students an opportunity to stay healthy and engage in sporting activities.

Very active off the court, the Sky have been among the most prominent community leaders in Chicago.
