The Chicago Sky added a loss to their record, falling to the Seattle Storm 95-57.

The blowout loss for the Sky marked the team's fourth straight loss. Chicago's streak extends to before the WNBA All-Star break, having picked up previous losses to the Minnesota Lynx twice and the Atlanta Dream.

Despite the recent struggles, one player has been a bright spot for coach Tyler Marsh and the Sky roster.

Kamilla Cardoso has been phenomenal as of late. The Chicago center finished the blowout loss to the Storm with 13 points and 13 rebounds.

After the matchup, Cardoso was named the Player of the Game by the Chicago Sky.

"Another double-double for KMILL," posted the official social media account of the Chicago Sky.

This is Cardoso's second straight game receiving the honors. In the team's previous matchup against the Lynx, Cardoso posted 10 points, 10 rebounds and two assists.

The Chicago Sky played against the Seattle Storm with arguably their best player, Angel Reese, sidelined. Reese has been working through a leg injury that forced her to miss time before the WNBA All-Star break and now dealing with back issues.

With the loss of Reese, the Sky leaned on Kamilla Cardoso. While she had a great performance against the Storm, the Sky added to their loss total.

Throughout her second season in the WNBA, Kamilla Cardoso has posted 12.0 points, 7.3 rebounds and 1.7 assists per game for the Chicago Sky.

Chicago has formed one of the best young cores in the league with Cardoso and Angel Reese.
