Chicago Sky forward Angel Reese returned to action on Tuesday night against the Minnesota Lynx after a one-game injury absence. Missing Chicago's final game before the All-Star break, a blowout 86-49 loss to the Atlanta Dream, Reese had been nursing a minor leg injury.
Able to participate in the All-Star Game, Reese looked to be healthy, and was able to give the Sky 30 minutes of action against Minnesota. While Reese played well, tallying 11 points, 11 rebounds and three assists, it was another loss for Chicago.
The Sky fell 91-68, dropping to 7-16 on the season — which is the second-worst mark in the Eastern Conference.
For Reese, the double-double was her 10th straight. She led the league in that category last season, breaking several records with her ability to tally double-doubles. Reese came into this game averaging one on the season, which would make it consecutive years she was able to achieve that feat.
However, Reese was not the only Sky player to tally double figures in points and rebounds on Tuesday. Kamilla Cardoso did the same, recording 10 points, 10 rebounds and two assists.
While this performance from Cardoso came in another loss, she was able to earn an honor from the team. After the game, Chicago announced it had decided to make her Player of the Game for this performance against Minnesota.

The Sky will now look to get back in the win column on Thursday against the Seattle Storm. They sit several games out of a postseason spot after dropping their 16th game this season, and will have a lot of work to climb back into the playoff picture.
