The Chicago Sky dropped to 3-9 during the 2025 WNBA season after a 107 to 86 loss against the 11-4 Phoenix Mercury on Saturday.
Chicago was down by 34 points at the end of the third quarter in the loss to the Mercury.
Head coach Tyler Marsh pulled out all the starters for the fourth quarter, letting players like Michaela Onyenwere and Maddy Westbeld play a season-high in minutes, 24 and 15, respectively.
On Sunday, the Sky take on the Atlanta Dream to complete their back-to-back set of weekend games. Chicago lost to Atlanta by a score of 88 to 70 earlier this season on June 13.
Before Sunday's matchup against the 9-4 Dream, coach Marsh made a lineup change. On Saturday, the team started veteran guards Kia Nurse and Ariel Atkins in the backcourt.
For the matchup against Atlanta, however, Marsh opted for 10-year veteran guard Rachel Banham in the starting lineup instead of Nurse.
"Lineup alert: Sky will start Banham, Atkins, Allen, Reese, Cardoso on Sunday," Underdog WNBA reported.

Banham started the June 10 contest against the New York Liberty earlier this season, but has only been in the starting lineup for one game. She has played in all 12 games, averaging 5.0 points and 1.8 assists in 16.2 minutes per night.
Nurse has averaged just 7.2 points, 1.8 rebounds and 1.0 assists per game despite starting 11 games and playing 22.2 minutes per contest.
Sunday's game will tip off at 3:00 p.m. ET at the Gateway Center in College Park, Georgia. The Dream will look to get their 10th win of the season and match the Eastern Conference-leading Liberty, while the Sky will look to gain ground on the 5-8 Mystics.
