The Chicago Sky defeated the 4-11 Los Angeles Sparks on Tuesday night by a score of 97 to 86. This gives the team a 4-10 record during the 2025 WNBA season and pushes them to 10th place in the league standings.

2024 All-Rookie center Kamilla Cardoso led the way for the Sky, scoring a career-high 27 points while also grabbing seven rebounds and recording three assists.

All-Star forward Angel Reese also contributed 18 points, 17 rebounds, six assists and four steals in the win. Ariel Atkins also chipped in 13 points and five rebounds while Kia Nurse and Rachel Banham each added eight.

Tuesday's win also snapped a three-game losing streak for the Sky, who had lost six of their previous seven contests before the matchup.

Chicago lost to the Sparks 91 to 78 earlier in the season, so they avenged their previous defeat in Tuesday's win. After the victory, the Sky took to social media with strong words for the Sparks.

"NO SPARKS FLYING TONIGHT," the Sky wrote.

Veteran forward Azurá Stevens paced the Sparks on Tuesday with 21 points, seven rebounds, four steals, four blocks and two assists. Kelsey Plum also added 20 points and five assists.

Los Angeles will face off against the 6-7 Indiana Fever on Thursday evening with a chance to redeem themselves.

Chicago will be back in action on Friday when they travel to take on the 7-6 Golden State Valkyries. Tipoff is set for 10:00 p.m. ET at the Chase Center in San Francisco.
