The Chicago Sky are headed into a new season with first-year head coach Tyler Marsh.
Last season, under the leadership of Teresa Weatherspoon, the Sky capped off the year with a 13-27 record.
Despite struggling under Weatherspoon, who was fired after the season, Chicago added two of last year's top WNBA rookies: Angel Reese and Kamilla Cardoso.
Reese was the runner-up to win the Rookie of the Year award, which was ultimately earned by Indiana Fever star Caitlin Clark.
Now, a new set of rookies enter the picture for Chicago.
Heading into the new season, their two most intriguing prospects from the 2025 draft class are Hailey Van Lith and Ajsa Sivka.
Sivka was drafted with the No. 10 overall pick, who most recently played for Tarbes in the French LFB.
Despite being drafted, Sivka will remain overseas for the 2025 season. According to Chicago sports reporter Karli Bell, Chicago Sky general manager Jeff Pagliocca confirmed that the organization will retain the rights to Sivka and expects her to begin her WNBA career in 2026.

After drafting Sivka, Pagliocca spoke on her skill set, mentioning that the Sky are "excited" to land someone of her caliber.
"Forwards who can stretch the floor will always hold high value in this game, and that’s exactly what Ajša Sivka provides," Sky General Manager Jeff Pagliocca said.
"We’re excited to land someone who is not only skilled, but has been playing at a high level professionally for years."
While the Chicago Sky will have to wait and see what Sivka can bring to the table, all eyes will be on Reese, who's entering her second season in the WNBA.
Last season with the Sky, Reese averaged 13.6 points and 13.1 rebounds per game.
