After a disappointing 13-27 finish in the 2024 season, the WNBA's Chicago Sky are charting a new course.
The franchise has undergone significant changes recently in order to build upon the promising talents of young players like Angel Reese, Kamilla Cardoso and 2025 first-round draft pick Hailey Van Lith.
In February, the Sky brought back Courtney Vandersloot on a one-year deal alongside veterans Kia Nurse, Michaela Onyenwere, and Ariel Atkins.
Now, Chicago has officially finalized their coaching staff for the 2025 WNBA season, marking a significant step in the franchise's ongoing rebuild.
The announcement was made via the team's official X account on Tuesday.

Leading the staff is Head Coach Tyler Marsh, appointed on November 3, 2024.
Marsh brings a wealth of experience from both the NBA and WNBA, including championship stints with the Toronto Raptors in 2019 and the Las Vegas Aces in 2022 and 2023.
Joining Marsh are assistant coaches Courtney Paris, Tanisha Wright, and Rene Wakama.
Paris and Write, both former WNBA veterans, bring first-hand playing experience to the bench.
Wakama, who also serves as the head coach of the Nigerian women's national team, was added to the staff on March 24, 2025.
The coaching roster is further bolstered by the addition of Aaron Johnson as a player development coach.
Johnson, a former teammate of Marsh at UAB during the 2007-08 season, previously held the same role at his alma mater.
In the front office, Donnie Marsh has been appointed as a basketball operations specialist, David Simon has been promoted to director of player development, and Can Ozbalkan continues as the video coordinator.
With a revamped coaching staff and a blend of seasoned veterans and emerging stars, the Chicago Sky are positioning themselves for a competitive 2025 season.
