Entering Saturday, the Chicago Sky will play their first game in a week, looking to extend their two-game winning streak following a rough 0-4 start. They face the Indiana Fever, who handed them a heavy 93-58 loss in the season opener.
A major change from that game: Fever guard Caitlin Clark will be sidelined as she rehabs a quad injury sustained last week. She's expected to receive an update on a potential return date this weekend.
Meanwhile, the Sky face uncertainty with forward Kamilla Cardoso. While, head coach Tyler Marsh shared some optimism Friday, revealing that Cardoso practiced fully and will be a game-time decision with shoulder soreness for Saturday’s matchup.

Kamilla Cardoso is a vital part of the Sky’s offense. Recently, coach Tyler Marsh has focused on getting her the ball inside, allowing her to work her magic—an approach that’s paid off.
Through the first six games, the former South Carolina star is averaging 11.3 points, 6.5 rebounds, and 1.8 assists per game. She’s had two games scoring 16 or more points and set a career-high with 23 points against the Dallas Wings on May 29.
While the expectation is that Cardoso will be ready for Saturday’s game, it’s a significant night for Sky basketball overall. The game has been moved to the United Center, home of the Chicago Bulls and the largest arena in the NBA. This will be the first WNBA game ever played at the venue.
