Angel Reese stole the show on Sunday night as she turned in her first career triple-double for the Chicago Sky. More importantly, Reese's 11-point, 13-rebound, 11-assist performance helped lead Chicago to a crucial 78-66 win over the Connecticut Sun.
Sunday's victory put an end to the Sky's recent three-game losing skid, and it wasn't just Reese who came to play. Rookie Hailey Van Lith (career-high 16 points off the bench), Kia Nurse (11 points, three triples) and Ariel Atkins (10 points, four assists) all turned in strong performances as well to help lift Chicago.
The same was the case for center Kamilla Cardoso, who registered 10 points, seven rebounds and an assist in 35 minutes of action.
There is no doubt, however, that it was Reese who was the star of the show against Connecticut. The Sky made it official by naming the 23-year-old as the Player of the Game.
Cardoso caught wind of the announcement, and she just had to flex her teammate's big game on social media.

Cardoso did not have anything to say about the post. Instead, she let the announcement and Reese's massive performance do all the talking.
Reese and Cardoso have been the backbone of Chicago's frontcourt this season. Sunday's performance was an example of how well these two can play together toward a single goal.
Chicago will need both of them to be at their best on Tuesday when they return to action against the Washington Mystics. The Sky will be looking to improve on their 3-7 record and potentially score back-to-back wins.
