Angel Reese's return to Unrivaled ended rather quickly. Her Rose BC, the inaugural champions of the 3-on-3 league, lost to Breeze BC in the first round of the playoffs.

The Chicago Sky star, who joined Rose BC on Feb. 11 after initially deciding not to participate in Unrivaled, played a total of four games for the team. She averaged 13.0 points, 10.3 rebounds, 2.0 assists and 1.0 blocks in the three games she played during the regular season.

Against Breeze BC in the playoffs, Reese came off the bench and tallied 10 points, seven rebounds and three assists.

Despite the unfortunate turn of events, Rose BC still got some positive news. For one, their leading scorer in Chelsea Gray was named the 2026 Unrivaled MVP on Monday.

Gray, who was also selected as a member of the All-Unrivaled First Team, averaged 24.2 points and 6.1 assists. She was second in the league in scoring and first in assists during the regular season.

After seeing the news, Reese was full of praise for her Rose BC teammate.

"THEEEEE CHELSEA GRAY!!!" Reese commented on Unrivaled's post. "literally the ultimate teammate, player, and person!"

For what it's worth, Gray herself has nothing but appreciation for the major honor. She also commented on Unrivaled's post and made sure to thank her teammates and fans who supported and cheered for her throughout the season.

"Thank you for all the kind words y’all! Appreciate it and I’m super grateful," Gray wrote.

While Reese and Rose BC certainly would have wanted to defend their title, they can take pride in Gray's individual achievement and the team's competitive effort this season.
