Colin Cowherd Signing WNBA Star Sophie Cunningham To Notable Deal

Sophie Cunningham is rapidly become the WNBA's second-most popular player and it seems like everyone wants to share in the spoils with her. The latest to sign a deal with her is FOX Sports' Colin Cowherd.

According to Front Office Sports, Cowherd is set to sign Cunningham to a podcast deal with his "The Volume" media company today. Cowherd's company joins a list of several big name brands that Cunningham has partnered with recently

"EXCLUSIVE: Sophie Cunningham is set to announce a podcast deal with Colin Cowherd’s ‘The Volume’ media company today, FOS has learned. In the summer of Sophie, the Fever star’s social media has exploded, she’s partnered with Adidas, Ring, and Arby’s, and now has a podcast deal," the outlet reported on X.

Cunningham has been widely praised for her big personality and reputation as a social media darling. While some of her social media behavior has gotten her into a little bit of hot water from time to time (namely with the WNBA), her TikToks and X posts frequently do some of the best numbers of any WNBA player, if not pro athletes in general.

All of that is to say, there's a ton of money to be found in Cunningham's brand right now and big brands are ready to get a piece of it.

Cunningham really became the center of attention several weeks ago where she retaliated against an opposing player after a nasty blow to her Indiana Fever teammate Caitlin Clark.

Since then - and even before then - more and more fans have started to give her tons of attention. With Clark being absent, it's been easier and easier for her to get that notice.
