The Atlanta Dream sealed a close win against Paige Bueckers and the Dallas Wings on Wednesday, behind Naz Hillmon's 21-point game. The Dream recognized her efforts following the win, celebrating her new record in the locker room.
Naz Hillmon played a significant role in Wednesday's win for the Atlanta Dream. The Dream had an 88-85 victory over the Dallas Wings, thanks to the late-game heroics of the fourth-year forward out of Michigan. She also finished the game with 21 points, with a new career-high five 3-pointers made.
It was Hillmon's night against the Wings. She almost didn't miss any of the shot attempts that she put up and made 77.8% of her shots from the field.
Hillmon's efforts didn't go unnoticed, as head coach Karl Smesko recognized the forward in the team's locker room after the game.
"Career high in points, three points made and a game winner," Smesko told the team.
